How do I know if you're the right photographer for my family?

The easiest way to figure this out is to get on the phone with me. You can easily find the best time that works for you by clicking the button at the bottom of this page to schedule a 15 minute call with me.

What makes you different?

While I like to think it’s my stunning personality, what really sets me apart is the fact that I deliver beautiful, authentic family photos while taking all the pressure off and making the process super easy (and fun!).

How do I schedule a session with you?

The easiest way to figure out our calendars is to have a quick chat over the phone. You can click to button at the bottom of this page to find a time that works for you.

Where are you located?

I am in Oregon, WI, but serve the greater Madison and Dane County area.

What do we wear?

Don’t stress too much about this! I send all my clients an outfit inspiration guide. I’ve also put together a couple of helpful blog posts about the subject here and here.

Where are your sessions?

My family sessions are usually outdoors, typically in parks and generally close to sunset. That said, I can usually work around specific requests for other locations or times.

“Life is the flower for which love is the honey.”

What if it looks like rain?

I absolutely can and do reschedule sessions because of inclement weather. I’ll be checking in a couple days before our session to confirm, so we can make any rescheduling plans then! I also am able to move to an indoor location if sticking to the original schedule is a priority.

What if my child is coming down with the flu?

Yikes! That’s no fun and I’ve definitely been there. Again, I’ll be in touch a couple days before our scheduled session, so if someone isn’t feeling well at that time, we can talk about rescheduling.

What if my child is really shy?

Try not to stress if your kids are shy – I want to capture who they are and the connections they have with you. If it means they get a few extra snuggles, all the better!

What if I have a wild child??

This is totally ok, too! Kids have all different levels of energy (trust me, my three span the whole range). I’m used to chaos and can absolutely get beautiful images of your child however energetic they are.

What if my spouse/child isn't into it?

I don’t force it! A big part of what I do is build connections with people to make them feel comfortable. I want everyone to enjoy this time, so I’m more than willing to meet them where they are.

What if my child is misbehaving?

If a kid is acting up, we might take the focus away from them for a bit so they can cool off. They can hang out while I get some photos of parents. One thing to note is I’ve found that children are usually more willing to listen to adults who are not their parents, so while I, of course, won’t be disciplining your children, I have no problem giving them straightforward direction if needed.

I’m more than happy to answer any other questions that may pop up along the way. I’m always just a phone call, text, or email away!
