Using film and digital photography to capture your

family connections

Nice to meet you

I’m Crystal – a photographer in Madison, WI with a passion for capturing your family’s beautiful memories in photographs. I want you to be worry-free when it comes to family photos. That’s why I take the pressure off and guide you through the entire process from the moment you start thinking about family pictures all the way until you are holding the physical images in your hands.

Why I do what I do

I believe you deserve a beautiful legacy preserved in photographs. I believe this shouldn’t be a difficult or confusing process. I believe that family photographs should be enjoyed and not left to languish on a hard drive. I am here to help you capture these moments before they pass.

Family Photographs

Why family photography

The days are flying and your children are growing before your very eyes. My purpose is to capture the true joy and connection that comes from your family relationships. Expect your session to include laughter, play, and lots of snuggles.

Why Film and digital photography

Digital photography provides flexibility and instant gratification. Film photography gives photos intentionality, beautiful details, and a sense of nostalgia. There’s something about analog photography that just can’t be described – a luminosity that is unmatched.

Childhood is the most beautiful of all of life’s seasons

but oh so fleeting
